VialView is a smart vial tray for compatible Pyxis™ Half-Height Cubie™ pockets. It organizes vials and displays the current count on the tray.

VialView eliminates manual counting by automatically detecting which vial positions are occupied and showing the current count on an always-on e-paper display.
There is no network connection, scanner, software login, or Pyxis modification required. Staff use the pocket the same way they already do.

What It Does
Each vial well detects vial presence. The tray updates the count as vials are added or removed, helping staff verify inventory faster.
What Changes
The counting step gets easier. The clinical workflow stays familiar: open the pocket, confirm the displayed count, log, and pull.
How to Use VialView
Install the tray
Place the VialView tray into the matching Cubie™ pocket. Insert and remove any two vials to complete the installation.
Load assigned vials
Put vials into the tray wells assigned for that pocket. A full 1x2 tray holds 21 vials; a full 1x3 tray holds 36 vials.
Read the display
The e-paper screen shows the current count directly on the tray.
Log count, then pull vials
Use the displayed count for the normal medication count workflow, then remove the required vial quantity.
Charge Up™ Program
Every 6 months, VialView can ship fully charged replacement trays with prepaid return packaging. Swap the trays, return the existing units, and keep the fleet operating without local charging downtime.
